If staying in the heart of a small mountain town, close to restaurants, cafes, and local shops ignites your soul, then this is the place for you. Conveniently located at the top of the high street with parking immediately outside, this fully renovated, modern, and comfortable suite with exposed brickwork walls can be all yours. Currently available for 30+ days rental, you will completely feel at home here. There's a fully equipped kitchen, TV with standard cable, double bed, and shower room.
The space
ENTRANCE
There are two entrance options to the building that you can use. Once inside, you will need to walk up the two flights of stairs to get to the suite. Please note, we are currently renovating two of the remaining suites and all the common areas including hallways.
OPEN PLAN LIVING
The open plan living gives space to this cozy downtown suite.
The kitchen is fully equipped with apartment sized appliances and all the small appliances to make it feel like home. There is also a supply of salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans for you to use during your stay. Within the kitchen area is a cozy counter area with stool seating for two people.
The studio is a comfortable space with a double bed, a double futon, and a TV with standard cable. This is the perfect place to relax in after a busy day in Fernie. The window has blackout blinds to help with reducing the light during the summer months, and has views out over the parking lot towards the Lizard Range/Fernie Alpine Resort.
The bathroom has a lovely large walk-in shower, and infloor heating. We supply hotel quality towels and locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo for you to use during your stay. Please note, the unit's heat sources are a small oil space heater as well as the in-floor heating in the bathroom.
Since this unit is in Downtown, please expect some local noise throughout the day and into the evenings. Fernie isn't a party town but during peak season there are definitely more people in the bars which are down the other end of the highstreet.
COMMUNAL LAUNDRY
There is a communal laundry room that you can use during your stay.
LONG TERM STAYS
There is the option to have mid-stay cleans with laundry change during your stay: this includes the top-up of basic amenities. However, once you have used all the basic amenities in the unit (dish soap, toilet paper etc) you can reach out and purchase a replacement basket. Or feel free to purchase your own from town.

Guest access
The suite will be entirely yours during your stay. The laundry room, staircases and hallways are shared with the owner and other guests.

House Rules
- Quiet time is from 11 pm - 7 am unless otherwise stated.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the unit, property, or on decks, balconies, or courtyards.
- Be respectful of our other guests with noise levels.
- No pets.
- No parties.
- No sports equipment inside the suite. They have to remain downstairs in the storage area provided.
- Fines and /or eviction may occur for broken building rules.
**IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE FOR WORK**
- Do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the building or unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies in either.
- A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if flooring is coal/ dirt stained and require treatment. This includes communal areas.
- No laundering of ‘coal’ work clothes allowed in the unit’s washing or drying machines.
- Please be advised that there will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty.
-To help prevent staining, dark laundry sets are available. Please notify us when booking if you require dark laundry for your stay. Also, please note that any late requests for dark laundry may incur a change-over fee.
Please note, a fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
Sometimes, due to safety concerns or maintenance issues, the strata (building managers) may need to close building amenities at short notice. No refunds or discounts will be issued for situations beyond our control.
