A bright and airy one bedroom condo plus a sofa bed in the lounge, located within CornerStone at the famous Fernie Alpine Resort. This true four-season resort offers you the best of skiing, biking, and hiking all year round. Our condo is tastefully decorated, and has vaulted ceilings, a private deck, mountain views, communal hot tub and gym, underground parking, a large open plan living space, separate bedroom, bathroom and in-suite laundry facilities.
The space
You will find the CornerStone complex at the heart of Fernie Alpine Resort. Our condo is on the third floor, which is where you can also find the communal hot tub and on the second floor you will find the gym. You just need to use your room card to access either communal space. In the underground parking area you will find a storage locker for your sporting equipment and bike racks (please bring your own lock to secure your bike).
OPEN PLAN LIVING
Our condo has vaulted ceilings which makes the place feel airy and spacious. It is tastefully decorated and has everything you need to feel right at home. Opposite the gas fireplace and near the tall windows is a large sofa with hideaway bed. If you use the hideaway bed, please note we require you to wash and dry the sheets in the laundry. There's also an exceptionally large SMART TV with standard cable perfect for your favourite movie!
The kitchen has everything you could need to whip up a light snack or hearty meal. (Or if you don't fancy cooking there are restaurants at Fernie Alpine Resort or downtown is just over ten minutes drive away). The kitchen has all the big and small appliances that you would expect, and we provide salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans for your use. Next to the kitchen is a small space ideal for remote working, and a dining table that seats four comfortably.
From the lounge area you can access the private deck area. Here you will find two chairs and a table, and wonderful mountain views. This is the perfect place to watch the sunrise with your fresh morning coffee.
BEDROOM
The new queen bed is super comfortable and is dressed in hotel quality linens for that extra level of comfort. There is a closet space, and you will find a fan, ironing board and iron within.
BATHROOM
There is a bath with shower over, and hotel quality towels are provided for your use. Additionally, we provide locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo for your use. You will also find the ensuite laundry facilities.
Guest access
The condo will be entirely yours during your stay.

So, before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details through 'Know Your Guest'. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. Please note, that the refundable deposit does incur a transaction fee upon return.
- We highly suggest that you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking. Our Airbnb guests can opt out of this insurance but for all other booking platforms this insurance policy is compulsory.
CornerStone at Fernie Alpine Resort is a luxury ski-in/ski-out condominium complex located in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. The building features 44 fully furnished units with spectacular mountain views, and is situated at the base of Fernie Alpine Resort's ski hill. CornerStone offers a range of amenities to its guests, including an outdoor hot tub, fitness center, heated underground parking, and ski storage. The property is also conveniently located near a number of shops and restaurants in the Fernie area. Guests at CornerStone can enjoy access to Fernie Alpine Resort's world-class skiing and snowboarding terrain, which offers a variety of runs for skiers and riders of all levels. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, visitors to the area can also take part in a range of other winter activities, such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating.
House Rules
- Quiet time is from 10 pm - 7 am.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the unit, or on decks, balconies, or courtyards.
- No pets.
- No parties.
- No sports equipment inside the unit.
- Bikes, skis, boards, and/or other large sporting equipment may not be stored in the unit unless otherwise agreed.
- Fines and /or eviction may occur for broken building rules.
- We use 'Know Your Guest' by Superhog: the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please review the information provided within the listing.
IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE FOR WORK
- Do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the building or unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies in either.
- A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if carpets are found to be coal/ dirt stained and require to get steam cleaned. This includes communal areas.
- No laundering of ‘coal’ work clothes allowed in the unit’s washing or drying machines.
- Please be advised that there will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty.
-To help prevent staining, dark laundry sets are available. Please notify us when booking if you require dark laundry for your stay. Also, please note that any late requests for dark laundry may incur a change-over fee.
Please note, a fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
Sometimes, due to safety concerns or maintenance issues, the strata (building managers) may need to close building amenities at short notice. No refunds or discounts will be issued for situations beyond our control.
