Tucked between the mountains and river, our one bedroom, one loft-bedroom area, one bathroom townhouse condo is a great all year round place to stay while you enjoy the many activities of Fernie and the surrounding area. So, after a full day of the outdoors, kick back and relax in front of the fireplace or enjoy a barbecue on the back patio with the stunning mountain views. There is a ski locker on the front deck for your sporting gear.

The space

This lovely townhouse is perfect for an action packed stay in Fernie. With trails on your door step, the provincial park just up the road, and the ski hill a ten minute drive up the road, you couldn't be in a better location! Furthermore, Downtown Fernie can be found just up the highway. You can drive, or take a long stroll into town to find a plethora of boutiques and restaurants.

ENTRANCE
There are steps up to the entrance area. Here you will find the ski locker for all your sporting gear. You enter the townhouse and arrive in the beautifully decorated hallway. There is a place to hang your coats and store your clothing accessories.

Off the hallway you will find the laundry closet with a washer/dryer for your use.

BEDROOMS
You will find the bedroom just off the main living area. There is a queen bed and storage space for your belongings. This bedroom has a door through to the main floor bathroom (Jack and Jill doors). Finally, if you go up to the loft area on the second floor you will find another Queen bed and two sofas.

All our beds are dressed in hotel quality bed linen, and the bathrooms are stocked with cozy towels and locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo.

MAIN LIVING AREA
The main living area has the kitchen, dining area, and lounge area. There is so much natural light due to the high ceilings and large windows. There is a large wall mounted TV, gas fireplace, comfortable sectional sofa and a four seater dining table: there are two extra dining spaces at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to make a quick snack or whip up a full meal. We will provide cooking oil, salt, pepper, and even fresh coffee beans for you to use during your stay.

PRIVATE DECK
From the dining area, there are glass doors out the private decked area which has outdoor furniture and a BBQ for your personal use. Please note, when it snows we cannot guarantee access to the BBQ. The views on the deck are stunning all year round.

Guest access

The condo will be entirely yours during your stay. There is a connecting door to a lock-off unit, which is locked at all times from both sides.

This property has two rentable areas connected by two lockable doors that are back-to-back. If you rent the full unit these doors are unlocked prior to your arrival, and if you are renting just one side of the unit the adjoining doors will be locked prior to your arrival. This is the same process used by hotels for their adjoining rooms.

Please note, there is construction near to the Pinnacle Ridge townhouses and Riverside condos. Although we do not expect this to impact your stay, there could be some construction noise and traffic.

House Rules

- Quiet time is from 10 pm - 7 am unless otherwise stated (any complaints to the strata result in $200 minimum fine).
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the unit, property, or on decks, balconies, or courtyards.
- No pets.
- No parties.
- No sports equipment inside the unit.
- Bikes, skis, boards, and/or other large sporting equipment may not be stored in the unit unless otherwise agreed.
- Fines and /or eviction may occur for broken building rules.

**IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE FOR WORK**
- Do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the building or unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies in either.
- A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if carpets are found to be coal/ dirt stained and require to get steam cleaned. This includes communal areas.
- No laundering of ‘coal’ work clothes allowed in the unit’s washing or drying machines.
- Please be advised that there will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty.
-To help prevent staining, dark laundry sets are available. Please notify us when booking if you require dark laundry for your stay. Also, please note that any late requests for dark laundry may incur a change-over fee.

Please note, a fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Place was beautiful

This is a lovely little apartment in the mountain town of Fernie. It is located just outside the center of town, nicely located right on the banks of the river. It is tastefully furnished and has all the appliances you need in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend it.

We've been staying in Riverside quite a few times, and this apartment is simply the best. Clean, spacious, with lots of natural light and great layout. Unlike many other Riverside condos, this unit has a private bedroom and the AC. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Fernie.

Great place for our needs

A peaceful and homely place right off the highway. Will be staying here again on my next trip

This condo was great for a short, last-minute ski trip to Fernie for our family of 4. Ryland was an excellent communicator and the unit is convenient to the ski hill and other amenities in town. The unit was nice and clean, and had enough space for a few days. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the beds were comfy. Overall, this was good value for the price.

Good value and a great place to- it’s bigger than it looks in photos! The loft was especially nice. Only bummer is the huge illuminated gas station sign out the main window, but overall a great stay, especially for the price.

Great place, convenient for sledding with the gas station right beside. Only thing that would have been nice was a shorter door code. 9 digits was a bit long. Had to pull the phone out every time. Other than that was awesome. 10/10 would stay again

For context, we have stayed in a few condos in the same complex. Ryland's place is on the smaller side compared to some of the other units, but does have a nice loft area for the "master" bedroom. We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed to find no shampoo/conditioner/body soap in the shower, as well the space was brightly lit at night from the gas station across the street. Otherwise, it is a nice spot with decent value for money given proximity to the ski-hill. For others, be aware that they ask for verification and damage deposit through "Superhog" which I had never encountered previously.

Muito confortável, limpo, bons móveis, tudo novo. O ponto negativo é o fato do quarto superior não ter banheiro e ser aberto, sem portas, recebendo toda a claridade das janelas que não tem cortinas, barulho e cheiro de comida da cozinha. Também não sabíamos que a vista era para a rua e o posto de combustível, já que nos fundos tem um rio, árvores e montanhas (eu já havia me hospedado no hotel ao lado que a vista dos quartos é para o rio). Mas o espaço é muito aconchegante, com lareira, tamanho bom. A varanda é grande e tem churrasqueira. Poderia ter um tapete na sala para ser mais aconchegante. O piso todo é vinílico, sem carpet, o que é excelente para mim. Haviam jogos disponíveis, produtos de limpeza, tudo organizado com carinho. Recomendo o lugar.

Beautiful place just outside of town. we got locked out on our second day, but thankfully host Rayland was very responsive and we were able to get back inside

The location of this Airbnb is excellent, It has quick access to the highway a very close drive to downtown Fernie, a 24 hour convenience store and gas station down the street for any late night cravings, it has a beautiful view from the deck at the back and a really nice little river that flows through on the other side of the parking lot with picnic tables and a rocky beach to go hang out on. I have already checked their calendar for availability for a couple other states I have planned.

Beautiful accommodations in a lovely setting, the bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed watching the various river activities in the cool of the evening and although you're close to a major highway you don't hear it when you're inside the unit. We would definitely go back again!

Loved the local soap and coffee! Great stay. The only thing I would say is that the lock off room was rented to someone else and sound travels, but it was not disruptive.
