House Rules

- Smoking is not permitted on limited common property, including decks, balconies, or courtyards, or within 6 meters of common property windows, doors, or air intakes.
- Restricted pets - one dog no cats unless otherwise agreed.
- No parties.
- Nothing is to be left in the hallways.
- Cooking or BBQ'ing is not allowed on the balconies. Each building has ground floor BBQs for your use.
- Remove dirt and snow from your footwear before entering the building. Please consider removing dirty footwear.
- Bikes, skis, boards, and/or other large sporting equipment cannot be stored indoors unless otherwise stated. Please use the locker provided in the basement, or the bike racks outside.
- The strata have a quiet time bylaw (11 PM - 7 AM) that requires all occupants of units in the strata not to generate noise that pervades other units during this time. Noise travels easily from the outside of the buildings. Ensure to be especially quiet on decks past 11 PM. Any complaints will result in an automatic fine of $200 to be levied against your party.
- Fines and /or eviction may occur for broken building rules.
- Park carefully, considerately, and adhere to ‘No Parking’ areas. At busy times there is a shortage of parking.
- You must return the Timberline parking pass to the unit prior to your departure. Failure to do so will incur a replacement fee of $50 per pass.
- Do not idle your vehicle. Air intake vents will bring your exhaust fumes in the entire building.

IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE FOR WORK

- Do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies into the property. Instead, use allocated storage locations
- A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if carpets are found to be coal/ dirt stained and require to get steam cleaned.
- Please be advised that there will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty.
-To help prevent staining, dark laundry sets are available. Please notify us when booking if you require dark laundry for your stay. Also, please note that any late requests for dark laundry may incur a change-over fee.

Please note, a fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Sometimes, due to safety concerns or maintenance issues, the strata (building managers) may need to close building amenities at short notice. No refunds or discounts will be issued for situations beyond our control.

Ryland was an easy host to communicate with and the booking process and instructions were clear. Family friendly unit. Overall the unit was fairly basic, but was all we needed for a short stay on the mountain with our two young children. Games room was a plus!

Great Spot, close to the ski hill. There is an optional charge outside Airbnb for insurance that is made out to be not so optional when you book, you have to message the host separately to opt out of the third party charges. Other than that you can't ask for much more in an Airbnb, great location, great amenities and a really comfortable stay.

Ryland was a great help, very friendly

Ryland has a great listing with clear directions, it was easy to navigate. The building is 3 min off the highway. The bed linens were fluffy, fresh and good quality. It was mostly clean and not dusty. There are some things that need work or replacement. I think the price does not reflect the quality of the space but rather, that it's good enough, has a lot of space for storage and bags, location was beautiful on end/ corner suite (Fernie is beautiful) and it is quite clean. Ryland was accommodating as possible and communicated quickly, clearly and has wonderful manners. I will stay again.

The apartment was clean and as listed on the website, Ryland was very responsive to all my inquires, great deal to book while in Fernie.

Ryland’s place is fantastic value for on-mountain accommodations. Check in/check out instructions were very simple to follow and the unit was clean & tidy upon our arrival. The interior is modest yet comfortable, and was stocked with nearly everything we needed to make our stay comfortable & enjoyable (including sharp knives for cooking & prepping - a rarity among rentals). Ryland was an excellent host who was extremely responsive with any questions we had both before booking & during our stay. We greatly appreciated his kindness & understanding when we needed to make some adjustments to our booking due to a family emergency. With all the new massive builds & big renovations to existing places it’s getting harder to find reasonably priced, pet-friendly accommodations on-mountain, so we are happy to have had the chance to stay at Ryland’s place.

Great location; close to lifts

Ryland was great. The communication was incredible and he offered early check in moments before I was about to ask for one because of travel time change. The unit was ideal. It’s on the first floor and corner unit. Amazing location. Very very clean!! Something we very much appreciate. Everything was great BUT the oven. The oven definitely does not work properly and this caused some issue as we love to cook. The stove top works fine but the oven itself does not work as it should. Other then that everything was amazing. Will rebook through Ryland again!

Adequate accommodation for skiing Fernie. Listing was accurate and the condo had the amenities needed for the stay. Convenient location on ground floor. A fair trek to the bottom of the hill. Ski out was good. The rental could benefit from some updates.
