The space

We had a great stay at this property. The house was clean, well furnished and spacious enough for five adults. The host was incredibly responsive making the entire process seamless. The central location was perfect, within a short walking distance to great restaurants and bars as well as very close to the grocery store. Our stay was delightful and we will definitely choose this property when we return.

We were a family of four and stayed for 6 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The master bedroom is very spacious and comfortable with a great ensuite and generous shower. The second bathroom and bedrooms are much smaller and certainly not as inviting. The living space downstairs was exactly what we were looking for with large comfy couches which made lounging around after skiing and hiking a perfect spot for us. The kitchen was functional but not great where the items provided seemed somewhat random and not well thought out. You may find yourself missing some common items if you want to do any sort of real cooking. The location of the house is just a short walk to the downtown strip where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, groceries, etc. Overall it was a great stay!

The house is perfect for a group with bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. The downstairs is spacious with lots of hooks to hang jackets and packs. The location and value are great! I did not give 5 stars as the kitchen is limited if planning on doing much cooking. There are ample plates and bowls, but lacking simple necessities like cutting board, measuring cups, mixing bowl, only a few wine glasses, etc. With a little improvement in the kitchen offerings this place would be awesome!

Great house, close to fernie downtown. Spacious and comfortable. Although there were fans upstairs it was extremely hot upstairs at night and the fans were very noisy. In fairness we did stay at a time the weather was very warm, but quiet fans blowing cold air would have been appreciated. I was pleased that kitchen supplies such as washing up liquid and bin liners were avail, however I would say that clingfilm and some food storage containers would be very useful. 2 bedroom doors don’t stay closed, one has a lock on the inside which secures the door however not ideal when kids are staying in there. Despite these issues it’s a great place to stay, and super convenient.

We stayed in Todd's place with our two young kids and another family. It's is a beautiful heritage home, with some recent upgrades, including a spacious living room and modern kitchen. The location is great. Three blocks from a a kid's park (if that's important to you), and an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops on Main street. There's a beautiful shaded back deck to eat dinner outside The master bedroom with ensuite is enormous. Be aware that the other two bedrooms are very small. The place could use just a little more TLC to make the visit even better. They desperately need more coffee mugs and wine glasses. There are elements of the house in dis-repair... like the shower upstairs in the second bathroom, many of the windows are broken and no longer open, and the front deck is falling apart. Overall these small things did not detract from a really great stay here in Fernie.

Great location and good size for our group of 4. Easy walking distance to downtown with loads of great restaurants. Super easy to find and check in and the host was always very responsive even after check out (to help us locate an item left there). Something that we didn't love about the place was lack of secure bike storage and no garden hose to rinse the bikes. You also aren't allowed to bring the bikes inside. Also be wary that the "ensuite" in the master bedroom has no real separation from the bedroom (ie. no door) which is not our cup of tea.

The house was amazing as well as Fernie ! It was incredible to have the fireplace to come home to after a day of skiing. You can never have enough hooks with all the ski and snowboard gear you have in a house and this house did. It disappoint ! Would for sure come back again if and when we come back to Fernie !!

We enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults and 2 children and had more than enough room in the three bedrooms. There are two living rooms, a large kitchen with dining space. Two smaller bedrooms upstairs and one large master with an en-suite and bunk beds. Note that if you stay in winter, you’ll need to use the floor heaters in the master; there is no forced heat in that room or the attached bathroom. The location was great. Easy access to everything. Other positive notes: - large fans in each room - local decor is nice. Lots of furniture downstairs to relax after playing outside all day. - Appliances worked well - Lots of hooks to hang your gear A few knits to pick: - our pre-clean wasn’t thorough, as we found dust in corners and along the walls and the blanket appeared to have hair on it - there is no Tupperware or equivalent in the kitchen. - user manual was not provided - more wine glasses and coffee mugs are needed for a place this size The above are all easy fixes.

Our stay was amazing, Todd was great leading up to the trip and made getting settled easy. The house is a perfect spot in Fernie. Great space to relax after a day on the hill and a super quick walk to downtown for food and fun. Definitely recommending for anybody else visiting or if we return.

The kitchen was missing some basic equipment but apart from that, the property was great: - convenient to downtown Fernie - short drive to ski area - spacious primary bedroom and bathroom - two living areas really great for a group

Todd’s place was a great space for our first family ski trip to Fernie. Close to everything and very clean and comfortable. We’d happily stay again.
