Some of the best views of the ski hills in Fernie! The suite is private with its own entry. There are two recliner chairs, a comfy bed and a nice bathroom with underfloor heating. Guests have full use of the shared amenities such as a hot tub, sauna, games room, BBQ use and a safe ski-snowboard storage locker.

The space

BED & BATH

The large, spacious suite has a queen size bed, perfect for couples spending a weekend hitting the slopes in Fernie! There is also a private, three-piece ensuite attached. The bathrooms come fully stocked for your stay––including shampoo, body wash and cozy towels. In the main room, guests have use of a mini fridge for storing meals on the go, as well as a microwave.

AMENITIES

Step out onto the spacious patio to enjoy the use of a BBQ, or lounge on the patio set as the sun sets. Guests have use of the outdoor hot tub all year round, as well as the indoor sauna. There is free parking available for guests on-site. Downstairs, guests can also find a personal ski/snowboard locker for storage.

IMPORTANT: In all lock-off units like this one, the strata forbid the use of hot plates, portable cooking stoves, or any cooking-related appliance with the exception of microwaves that are already provided.

Please note this building does not have an elevator/lift.

Guest access

The condo will be entirely yours during your stay. The main unit is rented separately. Noise travels very easily between the main unit and lock off.

House Rules

- Smoking is not permitted on limited common property, including decks, balconies, or courtyards, or within 6 meters of common property windows, doors, or air intakes.
- No pets.
- No parties.
- Nothing is to be left in the hallways.
- Remove dirt and snow from your footwear before entering the building. Please consider removing dirty footwear.
- Bikes, skis, boards, and/or other large sporting equipment may not be stored indoors unless otherwise stated. Please use the locker provided in the basement, or the bike racks outside.
- The strata have a quiet time bylaw (11 PM - 7 AM) that requires all occupants of units in the strata not to generate noise that pervades other units during this time. Noise travels easily from the outside of the buildings. Ensure to be especially quiet on decks past 11 PM. Any complaints will result in an automatic fine of $200 to be levied against your party.
- Fines and /or eviction may occur for broken building rules.
- Park carefully, considerately, and adhere to ‘No Parking’ areas. At busy times there is a shortage of parking.
- You must return the Timberline parking pass to the unit prior to your departure. Failure to do so will incur a replacement fee of $50 per pass.
- Do not idle your vehicle. Air intake vents will bring your exhaust fumes in the entire building.

IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE FOR WORK

- Do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies into the property. Instead, use allocated storage locations
- A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if carpets are found to be coal/ dirt stained and require to get steam cleaned.
- Please be advised that there will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty.
-To help prevent staining, dark laundry sets are available. Please notify us when booking if you require dark laundry for your stay. Also, please note that any late requests for dark laundry may incur a change-over fee.

LOCK OFF CONDOS (rooms without a kitchen)

- Strictly no cooking within lock-off units: this is a heavily enforced strata rule. They forbid the use of hot plates, portable cooking stoves, or any cooking-related appliance with the exception of microwaves if they are provided. Additionally, any sink blockages related to food waste are chargeable to the guest.

Please note, a fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Sometimes, due to safety concerns or maintenance issues, the strata (building managers) may need to close building amenities at short notice. No refunds or discounts will be issued for situations beyond our control.

Great clean place, great for me for work. Comfy comfy bed. The only 1 thing was connecting to the wifi was a bit tough but I basically only slept and showered there as I worked night shift, would love to stay again at the same price range but I think everywhere is going up the closer to summer she tourist season approaches , thanks Elisabeth

It’s in a convenient location. A 5 minute walk to the chairlift and a 7 minute drive to Fernie. A coffee maker would be a nice addition to the room.

Reasonable value for a simple, hotel-like room. Very clean, smaller than expected. We visited in the early June off-season so it was very quiet and we enjoyed the outdoor gazebo hot tub to ourselves both evenings. The strata rules are not bike-friendly so be prepared with secure lockup.

Elisabeth was a wonderful host. Her lodge suite was the perfect place to rest and recover after a day of snowboarding Fernie Alpine. The equipment lockers were super convenient to store our ski gear, the hot tub and sauna were relaxing and hot! We would definetely book this AirBNB again and highly reccommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Fernie, BC. 10/10

Elisabeths house is conveniently located near the chairlifts (Approx. 5-10 minute walk) There is also a shuttle that picks you up right outside the lodge to go into the Fernie town itself for $4CAD each way. Elisabeth was friendly and well-communicative, allowing early check-ins and check-outs at a fair price. Fernie is also a lovely place to visit, it is a quiet mountain with no lift waits and amazing powder compared to other locations we visited at a similar time.

This was a great place to stay at the right price! You're just paying for a (clean) room to sleep in.

Anne’s place was very clean, organised and well-suited to our few days on the hill! It was close to everything, walkable distance to the chair (though we drove on particularly icy mornings) and the hot tub was a huge plus. Microwave, kettle and coffee machine were much appreciated, as was an easy check-in and check-out process. Would recommend 100%!

We stayed here at Anne’s in March 2023 to ski. We had an awesome staying being able to walk to the ski hill. We really enjoyed some of the amenities like the hot tub, barbecues, and ski lockers (which were really convenient). Anne was very prompt with communication and had wonderful suggestions. We will for sure stay here again!

Great place, location and value!

A great room at the ski hill. It had everything we were looking for during a couple days at the hill. The place was clean and tidy and Anne was very responsive to messages.

We found the apartment was as described and it was ideal for our short stay. It was an easy walk to the ski base area. There was plenty of parking close to the building. We did not make use of the ski lockers, although that would have been very convenient if we’d had our own equipment. We also did not use the hot tub on the property. The only downside was that we found that noise from the neighbouring room and hallway did carry through the walls, which did not affect us but could be a problem for others.

Such a beautiful place to stay. I would highly recommend this lovely location to anyone. Amazing host, great communication. We hope to go back.
